Private Lessons Available on Request
Private yoga tuition, either one-to-one or in small groups can be a great way to deepen your practice, with sessions tailored specifically for you and your level of experience. Private sessions can be dynamic, therapeutic, or restorative depending on your goals and lifestyle.
Yoga on a one to one basis can help improve strength, balance, agility and mental focus. Together we can reeducate your body paying close attention to physical alignment and at the same time relieve stress and anxiety through the practice of pranayama and meditation.
Therapeutics - One to One Yoga for Healing - I have studied extensively in rehabilitating the body through yoga therapeutics. Yoga can be used therapeutically to assist with and heal a number of physical and mental health issues: from injuries to chronic illnesses or debilitating diseases to depression, anxiety, frequent headaches, athsma, back pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel, joint pain, scolliosis and the menapause to name a few. Yoga Therapeutics through
the use of Anusara Yoga Aignment Principles, re-engages the body’s natural healing mechanisms and helps to release held patterns for the inner and outer body. I also use restorative yoga and breathing techniques to release energy blockages within muscles, connective tissue and the deeper astral inner body.
This comprehensive approach supports and encourages specific areas of the body to heal as well
as strengthening the body systemically so you can recover from injury, surgery or
a variety of stress-related and/or immune system disorders.
Practicing with total attention within the body is advanced yoga, no matter how easy the posture
Practicing with your attention scattered is the practice of a beginner, no matter how difficult the posture.
